Governor Ayyodele Fayose of Ekiti state and the 26 members of the Ekiti State Assembly seem to have settled their differences after the members passed a vote of confidence on the governor  Ayodele Fayose.

Fayose was hailed by the members for following the constitutional provision of the country, before carrying out his governmental assignment in the state.

According to Nigerian Tribune, the following assembly members passed the vote of confidence on Fayose; Honourable Samuel Arogundade, member representing Ado Constituency one, the deputy leader of the House Honourable Adeniran Ebenezer Alagbada, Honourable Cecilia Dada from Ilejemeje Constituency, Honourable M A Adedeji representing Ekiti South West II, Honourable Olawale Onigiobi from Ekiti South West I (Ilawe).

Others include, Hon. Ade Ojo Fajana representing Ekiti East Constituency I, Honourable Fajemileyin from Gbonyin Constituency and Honourable S. E. Akinniyi Chief Whip of the House/representative from Ikere Constituency II,  while speaking on behalf of the 26 members of the Ekiti State Assembly.

The members called Fayose Ekiti state’s greatest son for his people-oriented achievements adding that the people of Ekiti State now have cause to laugh, rejoice, celebrate as the governor made the state another American city in Nigeria.

The lawmakers stated that relationship between them and the executive arm of government in the state was very cordial and friendly.

The also said several bills have been raised on the floor of the House while some of the bills  had got to the last stage of becoming law.

Meanwhile, Bashir El-Rufai, Nasir Ahamd El-Rufai’s son, posted on Twitter some insulting words about Ayo Fayose, the Ekiti state governor.

Despite people telling him to avoid using such words against a public figure, Bashir El-Rufai has shown he has no remorse on his comments about Fayose.
