Lawmakers of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the House of Representatives will on July 27, today meet with President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock villa.

The information about meeting was announced via Twitter:
Pres. Buhari is scheduled to meet with all APC members of the House of Representatives at the Aso Villa on Monday 27 July.

The meeting has been arranged for 5.pm inside the new banquet at the presidential villa and the agenda includes resolving all outstanding issues concerning sharing of principal offices in the lower chamber.
The House of Representatives is due to resume on July 28, Tuesday, 2015.

The party’s members in the House of Reps are still enmeshed in intra-party crisis over appointment of leadership of the House where they are the majority.
It should be noted that APC’s Hon. Yakubu Dogara has been elected Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives on July 8, Tuesday.
He scored 182 votes to defeat Femi Gbajabiamila, who had 174 votes.
The emergence of Yakubu Dogara as the Speaker of the 8th House of Representatives have come to many as a surprise.
