Nigeria’s D’Tigers have moved closer to Rio 2016 after defeating Gabon in the quarter-finals of the ongoing Afrobasket 2015 tournament.

D’Tigers defeated Gabon 88 – 68. Nigeria will now face either Senegal or Algeria in the semi-final. Nigeria closed the first quarter with a 12-point lead and Gabon never posed a threat to Nigeria.

Nigeria defeated Mozambique in the quarter-finals 83-47 on Wednesday August 26.
The winner of the tournament in Tunisia will win the ticket to attend the Olympic games holding in Rome in 2016.
