Akele said President Buhari promised to pay unemployed Nigerian youths N10,000 until they get jobs and since he has already spent three months in office, he should fulfill his promise and pay the three month arrears he was owing.

“The earlier the better for Buhari to execute his campaign promises. Buhari is owing three months arrears.”

He added that Gani Fawehinmi would not have approved of the refusal of the president to fulfill his promises as he “is not used to sycophancy”. He labeled the current administration as “a government by ambush”.
