This is not a good time to go to Iyana Ipaja as there is a fire raging in the highly populated suburb if Lagos. This will be the second time in a month.
A waste disposal truck filled with filth just caught fire at Iyana Ipaja and this is causing a heavy traffic in the area.
The only good news about this fire is that it is under control and not spreading to traders’ shops as the men of the Lagos state Fire Service got there on time to fight the raging fire.
The fire has caused a lot of traffic especially with the fire happening around closing time. Many motorists and passengers will be held up in traffic on their way home.

The waste disposal truck is burning almost at the same spot as the tanker loaded with fuel that fell off the bridge a few weeks ago.
Several shops and vehicles were destroyed by fire early some weeks ago after a tanker loaded with fuel swerved off a bridge in the Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos state and exploded.
